3 months, etc

So much to write about, I will try to condense it all down...I can't believe my baby is already 3 months old! Where did the time go?? Here is a glimpse of V at 3 months:
-She usually sleeps for about 7/8 hour stretches now each night, sometimes she surprises us, like last night when she went about 11 hours, woo hoo!
-She fusses less during tummy time, but she still doesn't love it, it may be a while before she learns to roll over, but we will keep working on it...
-She is "talking" SO much. She is so cute, she stares at you when you are talking to her and coos back. Ev laughs at me b/c I act like we are having a conversation (a la Amy and Anthony, Ev always says "and grandpa flies the airplane..." ha, Anthony we miss you SO much)
-She still wears 0-3 month sleepers, but 3-6 month clothing fits her now too
-She is almost ready for size 3 diapers
-She loves looking at books, we look at her "Mirror Me" baby Einstein book, and the cow page with baby McDonald seems to be her favorite, she always smiles and coos at it, she could care less about the monkey named Violet right now...
-She likes to hang out in her bumbo seat, which is great if I need to wash bottles or do something in the kitchen
-She has a newfound love/fascination with her bouncy seat. She has always liked it, but lately she gets SO excited and starts kicking her legs and trying to grab the toys that hang on it.

We have had a busy November. My friend Breanna was in town with her fiance Peter!! Yay, congrats to you, we are so excited for your wedding! They got to come meet Violet and brought her some cute pjs and a toy. Thanks! I love the sleep sack, it is SO easy and keeps her warm at night. I am sad I didn't get any pics of them with V, I was too busy catching up with Breanna (we used to work together in Dallas). Oh well, next time you are in town for wedding stuff we will get some pics.
We had a great Thanksgiving. We started the day bright and early at Nana's house for breakfast. Violet got to meet lots of her family on daddy's side. We then went to Ev's parents for lunch. It was a great relaxing day,we ate too much yummy food. I can't wait for Violet to eat real food next year, it will be so fun experiencing that with her!
I went back to work the week after Thanksgiving. It was SO hard to leave Violet. It has been such a blessing being home with her the first 12 weeks of her life. I am so thankful that she gets to spend time with her daddy, Grandma and Grammy, though, it is the best possible situation.
We are getting in the Christmas spirit around here, our tree is up and decorated, and Vivi loves looking at the lights and sparkly ornaments. I still have tons of shopping to do, but I am one of the weird ones who thinks it is fun to get out in the craziness. Ha, I am sure I will change my tune now that I have a little one to take with me...Hope you are having a great Christmas season, we are having so much fun singing Violet new Christmas songs, especially Away in a Manger and Silent Night...
