Here is our cutie pie having fun on her first time swimming! She loves grandma and grandpa's pool, and has SO much fun in the water splashing around. Swimming lessons are definitely in her future!

Cousin Visit

I have been waiting for what seems like forever to see my sissies Amy and Mer, and my new niece Stella, as well as the rest of my family. Well, the time finally came. V and I headed to Dallas for some long overdue visiting! It was so much fun. Violet was so excited to see everyone, and really liked playing with her cousins. She wasn't so much in to sleeping, though. I think teeth coming in are to blame! She also knows that it is SO much fun at Grandma's house, she didn't want to miss anything, ha! I got some snuggle time with my precious niece Stella. She is 5 months old, and this was our first time to meet her. She is such a little cuddle bug, and the most laid back baby I have ever met. She just seemed to be taking it all in. We got to celebrate Sandi and Amy's birthdays. I think this was the first time all of the sisters have been together since my baby shower. It was so great. We missed Ev, and Vivi was definitely happy to see her daddy when we got home today. Thanks Ashie for giving up your room for us. Hope you get some sleep! My mom has a great quote in her kitchen that says, "Sisters know who you are and love you more because of it." I am so blessed to have my amazing family, and I am sad that the time always goes by too fast. Have a great day and great weekend.

10 Months

Miss V is 10 Months old already...wow, how time flies. I can't believe in two months, we will be having her first birthday party! I have started getting some cute stuff for her par-tay, woohoo! What are you up to at 10 months old Miss V?
-You are sleeping great through the night, with 2 naps a day usually
-You have 2 teeth on the bottom, and it looks like you will be getting some on the top next!
-You are getting more adventurous, you are always on the move. You haven't quite figured out the most efficient way to crawl yet, but you get where you want to go!
-You are pulling up, and very interested in this new skill you have.
-You still love books. No matter what toy I put in front of you, you always seem to have a book or two in your hand. I look forward to the day when you can read me chapter books at bedtime like I used to do with your Grandma.
-You are still a pretty good eater most of the time, however, lately you are not so in to green vegetables. If you had it your way, you would eat blueberries and puffs all day long, ha!
-You are ALWAYS jumping! You love to jump, jump, jump, it is your favorite activity.
-You are still so smiley! Your best smile is when you seem to suck all your air in and squish your little nose up!
-Mommy and daddy love you more than words, you just keep getting better, and we can't get enough of our little stinkerbell!
