Dear Little Critter,
Mommy and daddy are so excited to be having another baby! I promise we think about you and talk about you all the time! It might seem like the Violet show right now, but when you are born you will be a welcomed member of our family! Mommy has been really sick while pregnant with you, but mommy is willing to be sick the whole time is she has too, because you are worth it! Your big sister gave you the nickname little critter, but we promise to give you a real name soon! We are SO excited that you are a little boy! Mommy secretly thought it was a boy the whole time. Daddy was so happy to find out he would be having a son! Violet talks to you all day and loves to kiss and hug mommy's tummy! You are already a precious gift from God and we can't wait to meet you in a few more months! Love Mommy and Daddy!

Mommy and daddy getaway!
A couple weeks ago Ev and I went to Las Vegas for a babymoon. Once baby #2 arrives, it will probably be a while before we take any more trips. We had a great time eating at great places, relaxing and just being together! We also waited until our first night there to find out the gender of baby little critter! Another post on that soon!
Dancing Queen
Violet had her first Christmas recital and we had a blast! Evan kept saying we would be on Toddlers and Tiara's soon, ha! That could not be further away from my idea of fun. But, I have to admit it was fun dressing her up and putting some sparkles on her face!
Posing
Trying to get a three year old to pose in front of the Christmas tree is an adventure, isn't it?? Ha!! Here is my sass after we finished decorating our tree!
Ouch
We were getting ready to leave the house for some Christmas shopping when I heard Violet screaming from the other room. She decided to pull on her stocking and the stocking holder toppled over and hit her. We are very lucky that it missed her eye. But she was left with a cut that needed some attention. I help kiddos get "string band aids" aka stitches all day long at my job, so I was preparing Vi for this and was not exactly looking forward to it. However, I work in an awesome pedi ER with some great people who of course took great care of us. They decided we could get by with Dermabond and we told Vivi it was special Mary Poppins skin glue. Magically her anxiety was gone and all is right with the world again!! Whew!
Turkey Day
We spent the morning watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade. Violet was glued to the tv! She said the Rockettes were her favorite, she is very in to dancing. Then we spent the day with my family in Dallas eating waaaay too much yummy food! Happy Thanksgiving!
Cousin fun
Vivi had tons of fun with Payton, her sweet cousin! She spent the night the day before Christmas, and I am pretty sure that Vi wore her out! Happy Thanksgiving!

Dancing queen
Violet started dance a few weeks ago. I am pretty sure I was waaaay more excited than Vivi at first. However, now the love is mutual, it is truly a mommy dream come true! Growing up, I was lucky enough to spend lots of time in dance class with some amazing teachers who were wonderful role models! I hope that Vivi always loves and appreciates dance as much as her mommy! She is almost too cute for words! I can't wait for her Christmas recital, my heart might explode!! Enjoy the pics.
Pumpkin Patch
I recently joined a MOPS group here, and so far I love it! I have met tons of awesome moms and Violet has had some fun playdates! We headed out to our local pumpkin patch, Violet had a blast with her new friend Lyla! Then we kept the fun going at home with a picnic and pumpkin painting. The weather was beyond amazing! It was such a fun day with my girl!
