Almost

It's almost time for Vivi's fourth birthday party! She had a blast helping address, stamp and mail her invites!!

5 Months

Grayson, you are officially five months old! Wow! I feel like you are growing up at warp speed! You continue to brighten our lives every day! You are laid back, sweet and content most of the time. Mommy is trying to give you lots of practice reaching your developmental milestones, but that doesn't really concern you right now. You would rather lay on your back and play or snuggle and be held. You are almost 18 lbs and are quickly outgrowing your 9 month clothes. You still wake up at night, once or twice. Mommy and daddy are ready for you to outgrow that part. But we wouldn't dare change a single second of your life. We love you SO much and always, always will!

Dress Up

Without a doubt, Vivi's favorite thing to do is to dress up and get in character! She has an amazing imagination, right now she loves to be a princess who lives in a castle! She would like nothing more than for us to play princess all day every day! Lucky for you sweet girl, your Aunt Amy, Uncle Ray and cousin Anthony sent you the most perfect 4th birthday gift:a Snow White costume. You wear it all day long, only taking it off at night because mommy and daddy say you have to! I am treasuring these moments deep in my heart, because I know that all too soon you will be in a hurry to grow up!

First Day of school

Vivi started preschool! She moved up to the Firetruck room! She was excited to go back, but a little unsure about her 2 new teachers. We sure loved Miss Nell and Miss Maureen. But we are excited for a new year filled with adventures, playtime and learning new things. These are the best pics I got of a certain little girl who was too busy to be still!

Violet is 4

Sweet baby girl, today you are four years old, wow! I can't believe how quickly you have grown! You are sweet, dramatic, animated, smart and one of a kind. I can't believe how much you have blessed our lives these past 4 years! I can't wait to see you grow in to a little girl more every day! God has big plans for your life little one! The world is a hard place sometimes. Mommy and daddy are here for you. But I pray every single day for you, that you will set your sights on eternity, that you will love and trust God above everything else, that you will truly know Him and be known by Him! I never knew how much love my heart could hold until the day you were born and I became a mommy! I love you to pieces doodle bug and always will!

Movie Time

Ev and I took Violet to the movies. It was her first time to go with us. We went to Movie Tavern to see Turbo. It was a special date with just the three of us! The whole time, I just couldn't get over how she is not my baby anymore, but is growing in to my precious girl. Maybe it's having a new little one in the house, but I have been so aware of how much she is growing up lately, wow! Slow down time!

Another First

Grayson, you officially have your first ear infection, poor baby! You have been so sad and not yourself the past few days. Mommy has not been able to put you down, but I love that I can give you the comfort you need! You are teething too. If you are anything like Vivi, all this yucky sickness always preceded a new tooth. So we will wait and see what happens! Love you little bug and can't wait for you to be on the mend!

First Day of Dance

Vivi, you started your second year of dance! You were so excited to get new tap and ballet shoes! I am excited to see how much more you learn this year! You have the same awesome teachers, Miss Lindsay and Miss Whitney! Your friends Austin, Jocelyn and Tinsley are in your class again too! I hope you always love dance! And don't worry, mommy won't turn in to a crazy dance mom even though daddy likes to joke!
