Is 9 months old!
What is Violet up to at 9 Months?
-Sleeping around 12 hours each night. She has been waking up once or so a night lately, she usually falls back asleep on her own. I definitely think some of it is teething related.
-She is officially a soy baby, but she is only drinking about 2-3 bottles a day now.
-She loves food! Some new favorites include cottage cheese and deli turkey. She is all about picking food up to feed herself
-She is on the move and in to everything. She is mostly army crawling, she is getting faster everyday.
-She is still our little jumping bean. She LOVES to jump, all the time.
-She likes to stand up, and can hold onto things for a few seconds before falling down.
-She LOVES books still. One of her favorites is "Do Princesses Count?" It is a really cute book if you are looking for a baby shower or anything.
-She is babbling up a storm, saying: mama, dada, baba, nana, etc.
We had her 9 month (well really 9.5 month) checkup this week. She weighs 22 lbs, 6 oz and is 29 1/4 inches long. So she is in the 91st percentile for height and 92nd percentile for height. They checked her iron level, which was great. And, she had to get another hep B shot. She did not enjoy that, but was over it pretty quickly. She doesn't go back until her 12 month checkup. Wow, it seems crazy to say that she will be a year old before we know it. Hope everyone has a great Father's Day. Enjoy our little cutie pie "modeling" a new dress from Auntie Sheila.
